What We Collect

Upkeep collects the following information to provide the service:

• Account information: Email address and name when you register.
• Task data: Properties, tasks, and completion records you create.
• Photos: Images you optionally attach to task completions using your device camera or photo library.
• Device tokens: Push notification tokens to send you task reminders.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide and maintain the Upkeep service.
• To send push notifications for task reminders.
• To allow household members you invite to view shared tasks.

Camera Permission

Upkeep requests camera access solely to let you take photos of completed tasks. Photos are stored on our servers and are only visible to members of the property the task belongs to. Camera access is optional and can be denied without affecting other app functionality.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Your data is only shared with household members you explicitly invite to your properties.

Data Storage

Your data is stored on secure servers. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time.

Third-Party Services

• Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In: Used for authentication. We receive your name and email only.
• Expo Push Notifications: Used to deliver task reminders to your device.
